For the Love of Horror
A newsletter focused on all things horror and beyond.
Greetings and salutations,
This is a brand new project that I wanted to tackle so that I could share my love of the horror genre. While it is just a wee bit selfish, I also want to use this as an opportunity for people to catch horror-related stories they may have otherwise missed. Rather it be a new indie project or an upcoming con, I’d love to help people find out about it!
And what better time to introduce it than in May, the halfway point to Halloween! Because, yes, I am cliche and Halloween is my favorite holiday.
A Brief Introduction
I grew up with my father letting me watch The Grudge and Hellraiser with him. I can vividly remember a nightmare I had as a kid where Chatterer chased my family and I down a hall (luckily no imaginative family members were harmed). Yet, despite the nightmares, I can recall eating popcorn and cracking jokes with my father just the same.
I have good memories of my terror-filled youth, remembering the special bonding my father and I got to have in watching films together. Hell, we still do even now, considering we like picking out the cheesiest horror flicks to laugh at.

Even today, the genre plays an important part of my life. Much of my interests are focused on horror, as most of my hobbies center around it. Plus, it technically is part of my bloodline. My great-grandfather was a Greyhound bus driver. Lo and behold, he was the one who drove around the cast of The Creature from the Black Lagoon while it was being filmed here in Jacksonville, FL!
What I’ll Be Talking About

I don’t want to limit myself to movie reviews or something like that. I want to talk about whatever in the world of horror.
Movies/TV Shows
Books
Online series
Haunted Houses & Related Experiences
Conventions
Cosplay
Art
… And anything else!
I’m mostly interested in sharing my own discoveries in horror with others so that 1. the creators can get the praise they deserve and 2. people can experience some amazing stories that they may have missed for themselves.
Who Am I?
I’m a creative who just so happens to love the genre.
I draw, write, cosplay, and whatever else. Right now, I’m in the middle of three different projects - two horror books and an analog horror series. I’m currently working on all three, though one of the books is in the editing process!
If you’re interested in seeing some of my work, you can check out my website.
