Really great article. It’s been 26 days since I deleted social media, and I’ve never felt more alive. I’m French, so I didn’t know about Alan’s videos, but we have a few similar cases here: people with mental challenges who posted a YouTube video and accidentally became memes. I could never have imagined how devastating the internet can be when you’re alone and the only thing you have to hold onto is the online world. What a lonely life.
